On 6th of October Polish cable network Toya will add new HD channels to its offer. Silesian digital cable television JamBox has added new channels to its offer and they are: Polsat News, TVP HD, Canal+ Film HD and Canal+ Sport HD. The operator has also prepared new promotions for premium channels. Religious television channel Religia.TV will join to the offer of analogue cable network Spray. It is now available in the Polish n platform, in Tesat cable network and as a test transmission in Aster. Religia.TV should appear very soon in other cable networks. Spray cable network added test transmission of Eurosport HD to its package, since 1st of August channel will oficially join to the offer of digital television. Spray is a small Polish digital cable network but its fully prepared for the Olympic Games in Beijing on Eurosport HD. more ››

At the beginning of July The History Channel appeared in digital cable network Toya. The operator also announces a start of HDTV package in a very near future. The History Channel is a station number 101 in Toya, a digital television that was introduced in November 2006. more ››

New channels have been added in July to the offer of Polish digital cable television of a new generation JamBox. New stations appeared in pay-tv packages and in existing packages. New channels include: three Discovery channels and Polsat Sport HD as well as Hyper/ZigZap, BBC World and 4FunTV. more ››

TVP HD channel that should launch on 6th of August will join the offer of Polish cable network Aster. It will be available in 'HDpack Aster' package with seven channels in high definition. Later this year, Aster will introduce a Video on Demand (VoD) service. more ››

On 10th of July cable network UPC Poland added Nickelodeon to its digital offer. It's a new channel on the Polish market that is aimed for children between 2 and 12 years old. Nickelodeon is available on channel 669 in Max package of digital television UPC. more ››

Polish cable operators are interested in the addition of a parliamentary channel Sejm TV to their networks, a planned new station that should be independent from TVP. A few weeks ago information has appeared in the media about plans to launch Sejm TV channel and cable operators interested in distributing the new station should report to the Parliament Speaker. more ››
