On Thursday, 13th of May 2010 television of the new generation n has unexpectedly increased its channels number with two new stations - a test version of Eurosport 3D on position 159 and Wedding TV on position 155. Eurosport 3D test transmission is associated with French Open tournament that's offered in 3D technology. more ››

Revenues from pay-TV service platform n increased by 33 million PLN or 32% in comparison with the previous year. The main factor was the subscriber base which increased by a 32,000 net to 724,000 in the first quarter of this year reaching a rate of growth at 33% and ensuring the same rate of revenue growth. In the area of active customers, base of Telewizja na Karte (TNK) clients has increased by 45,000 in the first quarter. more ››

It is now officially known that on 1st of May 2010 BBC Worldwide Channels will begin broadcasting its television channel BBC HD on the Polish market. At the beginning BBC HD will be available for more than 700,000 subscribers of n television. In the coming weeks, BBC HD will also be available in the offer of country's largest cable operator UPC Poland. We also know that BBC HD is already encoded in Nagra NMA (Seca) for CYFRA+ so it will soon appear on this platform. BBC HD will not be available in Cyfrowy Polsat. more ››

n television will add BBC HD channel to its offer - this is an unofficial information provided by one of the representatives of n television. Operator will soon inform its subscribers about this addition. Programming modifications will be accompanied by changes in the price list and regulations. more ››

In June n television prepares a major changes in its offer. We already know that new HD channels will appear. From 1st of June n introduces a new price list and prices for the basic package and "Information and Entertainment" package will be changed and operator will reduce the penalty fees associated with the decoder. At the moment we have no official information on the new rates and which channels would be included. more ››

TVN has published a selected preliminary non-audited financial and operational data of TVN Group for the three months ended on 31st of March 2010. TVN report also includes preliminary operating data of digital platform n. Publication of the results of TVN Group for the first quarter of 2010 will be held on 13th of May 2010. According to the report, the n platform ended the forst quarter with 724,000 post-paid subscribers and 307,000 pre-paid customers. more ››

On one of the transponders on Hot Bird 6 (13°E) satellite belonging to the n platform six new test channels encrypted in Conax CAS7 appeared. They are likely the test boards (constant bitrate, no audio). Tests are identified under the names: T115, T116, T117, T118, T119 and T120. Transmission is available in MPEG-4. more ››

TVN announced that on 10th of March 2010 is has completed the transaction to acquire the company of others, belonging to the ITI Media Group, a member of the ITI Group - the main shareholder of the company, 9.609 shares (49%) in the Neovision Holding company. Tomasz Raczek, head of the n television movie channels, informed that in April viewers will be able to see movies in 3D on nFilm HD channel. The only condition is having the simple 3D amber-blue glasses. Movies will be available in ColorCode system and a special receiver will not be required. more ››
