On 1st of May 2010 CYFRA+ will add FOX Life HD, Nat Geo Wild HD and SD and Cinemax HD to is offer. On 26th of April Polish CANAL+ launched the first HD 3D transmission in the history of Polish television. The transmission was free-to-air so everyone with a digital receiver could watch it but the correct visual effect can only be obtained by using a suitable TV model and special glasses. The first 3D broadcast will be carried out on 15th of May 2010 an it will be free-to-air live tramsmision of a match from Polish football league Ekstraklasa. more ››

On tp. 110 of HOT BIRD 9 (13°E) technical tests of CANAL+ Sport 3 appeared, channel started its transmission on 13th of March (Saturday). Transmission is encrypted in the Nagra Media Access (S4 - CYFRA +) system. Interestingly, CYFRA+ defines the channel on its website as: Service Test (Channel 26) because officially there is no third CANAL+ Sport station. more ››

2009 was a successful year for CANAL+ Cyfrowy that has achieved very good results despite difficult market conditions. In comparison with 2008 number of CYFRA+ subscribers increased by 12% from 1.38 to 1.55 million. Company revenues increased by 24% (from 1,034 to 1,279 mln PLN) and EBITDA by 10% (from 222 to 244 mln PLN). Company's results demonstrate the efficient and effective business strategy. more ››

Operator also offers a new HD PVR decoder from Pace with 500 GB hard disk. In the case of CYFRA+ decoder rentals (SD, PVR+HD), monthly price for all models is 10 PLN. On 17th of November Polish CANAL+ has changed visual identification of its channels. On 12th of November 2009 satellite platform CYFRA+ introduced new promotions, including LCD TV for 1 PLN and free multiroom.
