The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced the Telenor Group as Presenting Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo. The three shows, Semi-Finals on 25 and 27 May and the Final on 29 May 2010, will be televised live, hosted by the Norwegian national public broadcaster NRK. more ››

Euronews S.A. (euronews) and the Turkish Radio-Television Corporation (TRT) have announced that TRT has become a shareholder in euronews with a stake of 15.70%.
TRT becomes the fourth main shareholder of euronews after France Télévisions (25.37%), RAI (22.84%) and RTR (16.94%). The agreement came into effect on 6th of August 2009. more ››

Eurosport and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) have signed a two-year deal. Starting on the 9th of February at 9 PM, wrestling fans will be able to watch two WWE programmes on Eurosport - 'This Week in WWE' and 'WWE Vintage Collection'. Shows will be available in Eurosport's all European territories excluding the UK, that is 200 million viewers and 58 countries across the continent.

EuroNews plans to launch an Arabic language version of the channel this summer. A team of 20 journalists will be put together in the Lyons headquarters of the channel. Arabic will be the eighth language version of EuroNews. more ››

Russian platform NTV+ has added Fashion TV Russia & Eastern Europe on transponder 36 of Eutelsat W4 satellite, available on 36E.
